Friday after our trip to Oklahoma and Texas, Phillip's parents came to our house for a weekend visit. Friday night we took them to one of our favorite restaurant's, " The Pharmacy." It's a great hamburger place in East Nashville.
Brody had a lot of fun with Big Daddy and Mimma! He really enjoyed getting to eat outside on picnic tables.
Afterwards we took Brody to his very first baseball game at Vanderbilt. This was something that Phillip really wanted to do while his dad was in town because he has a lot of special memories with his dad watching baseball. His dad was also his Little League baseball coach for year's when he was little. Baseball is a big thing that Phillip and his dad connect with and enjoy doing/ talking about together. That being said it was special to see all three of them sitting on the front row watching the game. We had a lemonade and a couple of snacks at the game which helped him last for a little while and then he started to get tired and it started to rain, so we left.
He had a great time! Brody loves baseball!
Saturday was a pretty laid back day. We took Big Daddy and Mimma over to the Avenue and did a little shopping.
The rest of the day we hung out at home watching Brody play in the backyard and run in the sprinkler. Sunday morning they went to church with us and then left for Arkansas after that. We had great weekend with them and were thankful that they took the time to come!

I'm so honored we made the blog! :) We LOVED seeing you in Waco too. Always makes me wish we lived in the same town! Happy belated birthday to Brody! Hope you all had fun celebrating your precious boy!
