Welcome to the World Ella Cate Plank! Meet our niece! May 5th 2013

  Sunday, May 5th we got a call that morning that Kayla was in the hospital in labor with her first child, a little girl named Ella. So Phillip and I decided to hop in the car and make the 8 hour drive to Ft. Smith, Arkansas to welcome our first niece into the world. 
   We got there that afternoon and after a long day of labor, Kayla was wheeled in to have a c section. Late that night Ella Cate Plank was born!

She was just the most precious baby! We were in love instantly! Brody was so excited to meet Baby Ella his first "first cousin." 

It was such a special moment watching Kayla become a mom for the first time and hold her precious baby girl. She is going to be a great mom to her!

Big Daddy and Mimma were so proud to welcome another grandbaby into the Wood family!

What a fun but exhausting time we had! We spent the night with Phillip's friends Josh and Summer Bonner, and then woke up the next morning, went by the hospital to see everyone again, and then drove home.
