This summer Mom came to Florence for a couple of week's to stay with Mimi while Carole, Keith, and John went to the Christmas Island's for mission trip. While Mom was there Brody and I came to visit her twice for two day increment's.
One night we went to Rosie's Mexican restaurant to eat dinner with Mimi, Uncle Charlie ( who also came to visit for a few days) and Mom. We had a great time!
After dinner we went to this neat old bridge, walked across and took pictures on the Tennessee River.

One day Mom, Mimi and I took Brody to Spring Park in Tuscumbia, AL. This is a neat park that Mom and Mimi used to take me to when I was a little girl. Brody had a great time feeding the ducks and got to ride the train around the park a couple of times which he loved!

Brody loves his Mimi! Every time we entered the room Brody would say "MIMI!!" always very excited to see her! It was so sweet. :)
We had a great time getting to be with Mom and Mimi! We were spoiled getting to see them two weeks in a row, it was nice. :)
A couple of weeks later Dad came to visit for a few days. He would study ( preparing for his fall sermons) at Lipscomb during the day, and then would hang out with us at night. We really enjoyed getting to see him and Brody just adores his Poppie ( he calls him "Papa").

It was so good to get to see my parents and to spend some good quality time with them. I look forward to the next time that we are all together again!
