Stephanie and Renner's Wedding Weekend

The weekend of May 20-22 we took a tour of Arkansas. :)  The main purpose of the weekend was to attend my cousin Stephanie's wedding in Bentonville, AR. On the way there and on the way home we made many stops in Arkansas and saw numerous family members. Overall it was a fantastic weekend!

Thursday evening after Phillip got off of work we drove to Searcy to spend the night with Phillip's parents. We arrived there about 1:15 a.m. We were pretty exhausted but excited to get to see them and to be in Searcy. I know this sounds cheesy but every time we go visit Searcy it brings back so many goodmemories of my college days. I really enjoy being there and going down memory lane as we drive through the town. We hung out with his parents that night and finally went to sleep about 2 a.m. Brody did well on the trip even though he was so tired. He slept most of the way but was very fussy when he was woken up. I felt bad for him!

Saturday morning we ate a delicious breakfast with Phillip's parents and his grandma, Mimmie. We hung out with them at their house until about 9:30.

Brody enjoyed spending time with his Big Daddy and Mimma!

We brought some of his toys from home for him to play with and his Mimma had gotten him some toys and books to keep at their house.

Mimma reading a book to Brody that she got him that had finger puppets to go along with it!

In Big Daddy and Mimma's front yard before we left for Northwest Arkansas.

It was so good to get to see them even if it was just for a little while!

Family pic! This weekend was 5 days before Brody turned 9 months old!!

We arrived in Bentonville around noon and met my parents at the hotel there where we were all staying. We also got to hang out with Jamie's fiance, Calvin. Jamie was in Stephanie's wedding so we didn't get to see her until Friday evening.  We all went and ate lunch at firehouse subs. Then we came back to the hotel and hung out in my mom and dad's room. Their hotel room was right next door to ours.  This was very convenient when we would put Brody to bed.  We usually would take the monitor and sit in their room until he would go to sleep. If we hadn't had their room it would have been extremely hard for him to go to sleep with us in the same room as him. So long story short that situation worked out well!

Brody and his Marmie! We were so excited to see them!

That afternoon Phillip and I took Brody swimming for the first time. He had a blast! He kicked his legs a lot!

Saturday morning at breakfast hanging out with Aunt Ruby!

Saturday night at the wedding Brody and his cousin Ryder saw each other for the first time since Christmas. Ryder is my cousin Shelley's son and is about 2 weeks younger than Brody. It was so much fun seeing them interact!

We sat by Rob ( Shelley's husband) and Ryder at the wedding. That didn't last long before they both became pretty loud talking to each other and the dad's had to take them to the back of the venue.

Dad did the ceremony and did a fantastic job! We had so much fun at Stephanie and Renner's wedding!

Me and Jamo! Apparently I should have gotten a spray tan! Agh! So white!!

Cal and Jamie! They are getting married August 6th. Cal and Jamie met through Renner and Stephanie. Renner and Cal were roommates and Jamie and Stephanie were roommates in OKC. When Stephanie and Renner started dating they introduced Jamie and Cal. It's such a neat story! We love Cal and can't wait for him to be a part of our family!

Sisters! We had so much fun hanging out at the wedding! I always enjoy spending time with her! I wish we lived closer so we could hang out more.

Aunt Carole, Mom, and Mimi Coil. I love this mother and daughters pic!

Uncle Keith and Aunt Carole at the reception.

Me and my cousin Shelley. Her and her husband Rob live with their two boys, Caden and Ryder in Louisville, KY. We went to visit them last year and are going again in July! We love hanging out with them!

At the reception they had a photo booth area where you could dress up and get your picture taken. It was a lot of fun!

The husbands and fiance of the girl cousins on the Coil side of the family! Rob, Renner, Phillip and Cal.

Our family at the reception. It was so much fun getting to all be together!

Sunday morning Brody and Marmie hanging out before we left Bentonville.

After leaving Bentonville we headed to Fayetteville, AR so Phillip could take pictures with Brody at Razorback stadium. Phillip has been a Razorback fan since he was little. He and his entire are huge fans! His mom's whole side of the family is from Conway, AR and are Razorback fans so Phillip grew up as a big fan!  It was really special for Phillip that we got to do this because we are rarely in Fayetteville.

Calling the Hogs!

After leaving Fayetteville we headed toward Conway and on the way we stopped in Alma, AR to get gas and to see Phillip's sister Kayla. Alma is only about 20 minutes away from Roland, OK where Kayla and her husband Cody live ( where Phillip is originally from).  It was so good to get to see her for a few minutes!

Brody loves his Aunt KK!

We arrived in Conway around lunchtime. We met Phillip's parents, his Uncle Fred, and his cousin Clayton at his great grandma Maw Maw's ( she is 100 & 1/2 years old) house to eat lunch. We had a great time getting to visit with everyone!

Brody and his great great grandma. This is the only great great grandma he will ever know. It is so fun watching her interact with Brody! You could tell she really enjoyed getting to see him.
