We left Friday at noon and headed to Searcy, AR. That night we grilled hamburgers with Phillip's parents, his Uncle Mike, and his cousin Josh. Uncle Mike had never met Brody before, so that was special.

Saturday morning we got on the road to head to Branson. We decided it would be fun if Cathy rode in the backseat with Brody and that I drive our car, and Phillip decided to ride with Danny on the three hour road trip. When we got to Branson we walked around this outdoor shopping area called the "Landing." First of all we went to "Bass Pro Shop" and walked around. We ate lunch at this place where they had delicious brick oven pizza's. After that we went to "Dick's Five and Dime" in historic downtown Branson. This was one of Phillip's favorite places to go in Branson as a child. We had a great Saturday afternoon!

Saturday night we went to Whitewater water park. This was a place that Phillip loved going to as a kid and he wanted to make sure me and Brody experienced it as well. We went at night because you could get 50% off the regular ticket price, and we weren't sure how long Brody was going to last so we thought this would be the best time to go. We had a blast! We took Brody to the kids area and he loved it! Phillip, Danny and Brody took on the lazy river, which is something Phillip used to do as a kid with his dad and his grandpa Pop. Big Daddy and Mimma were kind enough to watch Brody while Phillip and I rode a lot of the water slides! We had a great time!

Sunday morning we woke up and went and ate at 76 Country buffet.

Monday we headed out of Branson back to Searcy. On our way back we made a few stops. The first place we stopped was an outdoor shopping area with a cute Christmas store, and other unique little shops.

Brody and his grandparents. At this point he was ready for a nap and did not want to be taking a picture in a big rocker. I think it turned out good any way!

We had a great weekend with Phillip's parents and enjoyed making wonderful memories! We had a great fourth of July!!
